As an artist, these words by Vincent Van Gogh truly capture what I believe. Van Gogh wrote these words in a tender letter to his brother as he expressed his utmost gratitude for his support during his career. Van Gogh recognized his brother's love and support is truly what made his work possible. His brother was encompassing art in its purest form - love.

Over the years, my life has encompassed many forms of artistry. I trained as a classical ballerina for over 18 years and was fortunate to perform at the university level. Ballet embedded in me the beauty of strength with delicacy, a juxtaposition that remains central to my work.

Upon graduating with a business degree and art history minor, my goal was to work in arts administration. After two years with a nationally acclaimed ballet company, I found myself yearning for deeper, individual artistry. In 2017, with the support of my husband and many others, Ink & Press Co. was born. Since then, I've had the privilege of working with couples all over the world.

I am continually inspired by those I work with and honored to be a part of their story. I am devoted to my art, but above all, I cherish the opportunity to translate a couple's story into something tangible: an heirloom created to be held, experienced, and remembered. It is a privilege to create something meaningful with you.

All my heart,
Mikyla Marie Manuirirangi

Like Van Gogh's brother, I have found time and time again the couples I work with encompass art in its purest form - love.
