We understand every couple's needs are different, which is why we offer individual quotes instead of set prices for set quantities. A quote is largely based on the quantity requested. As a standard rule of thumb, the more you order the price per suite goes down as base costs, like foil and letterpress plates, are spread out across a greater quantity.

For a semi-custom design, we recommend allocating anywhere from $1,500 - $5,000. We have found an allocated amount of $3,500 for 150 qty invitation suites to be the "sweet spot" allowing couples to invest in luxury paper and printing (i.e. letterpress, handmade paper), as well as additional add-ons like calligraphy addressing, postage, and wax seals.

For a custom design, we recommend allocating anywhere from $3,000 - $8,000.

We specialize in letterpress, foil, embossing and debossing, silk screen printing, and digital printing. We love working with all couples to select the best print method based off their personal and wedding aesthetic as well as allocated amount.

In addition to cotton cardstock, vellum, and handmade paper - we are proud to be one of few stationers who offers unique mediums like velvet and acrylic invitations. Each medium has been personally chosen by Mikyla Marie based on their heirloom and luxury quality ensuring only the best for all Ink & Press Co. couples.

Yes! All calligraphy, venue illustrations, botanical sketches, etc. seen in Ink & Press Co. work is completely done by hand by Mikyla Marie. Unlike many big-box stationery brands, we do not work with script fonts. The calligraphy script used for all invitation suites is written by hand, scanned, digitized, and then imported into each design - regardless if a semi-custom or custom design is selected. This is one of many ways we guarantee heirloom quality designs that are completely custom to each couple.

While the integrity of the design will remain the same, our semi-custom collection is very customizable! We love working with all couples to further personalize a semi-custom design to them. Love the Degas suite but want to have the venue written in calligraphy as well? No problem!

In addition, we offer two different calligraphy scripts for couples to chose from as well as 3 different monogram/crests that can be added to any semi-custom invitation suite.

For local weddings -
We recommend sending a Save the Date 6 to 8 months prior. While the industry standard is to send the wedding invitation 6 to 8 weeks before the wedding, we feel this is too short. We recommend sending an invitation suite 10 - 12 weeks before the wedding with an RSVP by date of 1 month before the wedding.

For destination weddings -
We recommend sending a Save the Date 8 to 12 months prior with a website link guests can refer to as they make travel arrangements. For the wedding invitation suite, we recommend sending this to your guests 3 to 4 months in advance with an RSVP by date of 6 weeks before the wedding.

It is never too early to submit an inquiry and reserve your date! We typically book most couples 6 to 12 months in advance depending on if a Save the Date is requested. To enjoy the full collaborative process and avoid any rush fees, we recommend reserving 4 months to design and produce your invitation suite.

We do not have a set collection of ink and envelope colors for our couples to chose from. There are many shades of pink, for example, and we do not like to limit our couples to choosing from pre-selected 3 options in that color.

Rather, we like to curate a number of ink and envelope colors based off our couple's individual wedding aesthetic and color palette. There are an unlimited number of colors to chose from, and together with our couples we curate that perfect fit.

Yes! We work with both couples and wedding planners worldwide. We can also design and create an invitation suite in any language. For all international orders, we recommend allowing extra time to accommodate for overseas shipping.
